A Collaborative Experience from Start to Finish.

"A great portrait is never rushed. Whether we are shooting a 30-minute Individual session or a multi-hour Studio Legacy project, my goal is to make the process as seamless and professional as the final result."

  • The Consultation: Every session begins with a conversation about your goals, wardrobe, and the 'presence' you want to project.

  • The Session: Guided direction in my private Canton studio using the world’s finest Leica and Hasselblad optics.

  • The Selection: We’ll review the captures together to ensure we’ve found the definitive shot that meets my 38-year standard of excellence.

  • The Masterpiece: Each chosen image is hand-retouched with the same intentionality I used in the darkroom in 1988.

Preparing for Your Session: A Wardrobe Guide

  • Embrace Texture: In my studio, texture is king. Knits, leather, wool, or denim catch the light from the Leica and Hasselblad optics beautifully, adding depth and "soul" to the image.

  • The Power of Neutrals: For that timeless Tri-X or Agfa monochrome aesthetic, stick to a palette of charcoal, navy, black, or cream. They keep the focus on your face, not your clothes.

  • Simple over Busy: Avoid large logos or loud, high-contrast patterns. We want the viewer to look at your eyes, not your shirt.

  • Layers are Key: A well-fitted blazer, jacket, or scarf allows us to create multiple "looks" quickly without a full wardrobe change.

  • The "Ironing" Rule: Ensure your clothes are pressed or steamed. High-resolution sensors see everything, and a clean line is essential for a "Signature" result.
