Out n About

St. John Church 1836

While shooting some exterior images of the W25th Street Lofts in Cleveland, Ohio, I came across this beautiful church with red doors! I heard but never researched, that if the doors were red it meant the church was paid in full. Anyways, I had to grab a shot of this old historic church.

I felt the b+w was a good fit with the doors brought back to their color. I love old structures and look for them wherever I travel.

Thanks for taking the time to view!

Mothers Day and Around Town

This has been a truly different Mothers Day for me and my siblings. Our mom passed away Dec 30th 2013 and it has been so difficult for all of us. We were all so close with her and we loved her like no other.

My brother Mike and I went to see our good friend's mom, Rosemary who has Alzheimer's. She is at Copeland Oaks in Sebring, Ohio. She happened to be eating when we got there, so we sat with her for a little bit. She is such a sweet lady. Even though she really didn't know who we were,  we were glad we went, it helped us more!

Look at that smile!

I decided to head downtown to see what I could get into! I was driving down Walnut and I looked over in the McDonald's parking lot and saw this cool pic begging to be taken!

The Ohio State Reformatory

My buddy and fellow photographer Tedd, told me about this really cool place down in Mansfield, Ohio. Owned by MRPS. He was telling me that part of the movie, Shawshank Repemption, was filmed there! He had been there several times and knew I would love to go!

We had a great time! It was so worth the drive and I took many, many pics! If you get the chance to go, go!!

Enjoy the slide show!
